IDNet Launches Community Outreach in Kumba

IDNet Cameroon launched a community outreach programme in Kumba aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue and strengthening relationships among diverse community leaders.

Over several days, participants took part in facilitated conversations, listening circles, and collaborative planning sessions focused on sustainable peace building. Local leaders, youth representatives, and civil society partners shared experiences and identified shared priorities for cohesion and mutual respect.

The campaign emphasised practical next steps: neighbourhood dialogue forums, joint community projects, and continued engagement with schools and faith-based groups. Feedback from attendees highlighted a renewed commitment to inclusive decision-making and peaceful coexistence.

IDNet will continue working with partners in Kumba and surrounding communities to turn these conversations into lasting local initiatives.
